What happened?

Leaving the knights behind, Seiya flew to the location of the battle, carrying Mash, while Ristarte followed with Elulu. However, they were still too late as the commanding knight, Rosalie, had already engaged with the enemy. Beel Bub ordered his flies to pick up the soldiers and carry them high into the sky. Once high enough, he ordered them to let go, creating what he calls reverse fireworks. The soldiers hit the ground, dying on impact. Seiya could only watch from a distance as he assessed the situation. As soon as Rosalie realised that the Hero was there, she insisted that they launch another attack instantly. Seiya refused, demanding to regroup.

Once back at Rosalie’s castle, Seiya revealed that he was not ready to fight Beel Bub. He needed some time to prepare. Rosalie was furious. Then, when she discovered that Seiya saw her soldiers being killed and did nothing, she lost it, refuting him as the hero and demanding that they march straight back there and attack. That seemed to ruffle Seiya, who instantly slapped her. She didn’t back down. He slapped her again. They repeated the process over and over until Rosalie could only bark insults at him as Ristarte tried to get between them. Seiya told them they would be back in one hour and then returned to the Divine Realm.

As soon as the portal closed, Ristarte told Seiya that he had gone too far. Sure, Rosalie was wrong and was going to sacrifice all of her men, but hitting her like that wasn’t cool. However, Seiya was furious about Rosalie’s intentions and her lack of preparation. Anyhow, he needed a god who could teach him archery. Luckily, Ristarte knew just the god to ask. Mitis lived in a secluded forest, but she was without a doubt the best person to train Seiya. After leaving him with Mitis, Ristarte took Elulu and Mash to see Ariadoa, who was able to unlock their potential. Then, Ristarte heard about Adenela’s breakdown after being rejected and rushed to warn Seiya.

What did you think?

Seiya was fantastic in this episode, and while I’m not about to condone hitting women, Rosalie needed to be stopped. She is a terrible commander. After marching her soldiers to face Beel Bub and his army of flies without a plan, she got a lot of them killed. Even after seeing that, she was prepared to send them all straight back into battle. No planning, no rest, no clue! The most interesting thing, however, is that Seiya wasn’t angry at her… Well, he was, but the reality is that he was mad at himself for once being just like her.

With the exception of Cerseus, the gods appear to be just as much of a problem for Seiya to deal with as the Demon Lord and his army. Adenela clearly went berserk when Seiya rejected her request to join the party and told her he hated her cake. So, it was no surprise to see her desperate for her revenge. Of course, it was also hilarious. Ristarte’s reaction to it was amazing.

But then, Seiya simply straightened her hair and patted her head, and all was forgotten. It was hilarious to see how quickly she turned back to adoring him. However, that didn’t seem to be the end of Seiya’s god troubles as Mitis was watching from afar with interest as she ate an apple in a particularly erotic fashion… I had no idea that was even possible!
