Issei is still struggling to cut it as a devil. He’s yet to make a contract and let’s not talk about his physical attributes. Rias decides it’s time for some one-to-one training and if he does well… there might be a reward!
High School DxD (Episode 6) – I Work as a Devil!
What happened?
Issei is out of shape and he’d be the first person to admit it. So, Rias tells him to be ready at five in the morning. She’s going to whip him into shape whether he likes it or not. Of course, he likes it, but mostly because Rias is helping him stretch and that involved sitting on him… After a while, Asia shows up, much to Issei’s confusion. It’s time for Rias to fix another issue.
They return to Issei’s house where Rias meets with his parents. She wants them to take Asia in. While they are delighted to welcome Asia into their home, they are concerned that their son is such a rampant horndog that it may not be in her best interest. She assures them that she likes Issei and believes they wouldn’t have any issues.
Asia also joins their school and is in the same class as Issei. Everyone is shocked when they learn she’s living with him too! With the pressure getting to him, Issei goes to the nurse’s room for a lie-down. However, when he wakes he finds Rias lying beside him, completely naked. She offers to help him with his next summons and even offers him a reward if he does well. The summons was to a girl dressed in samurai armour. She wanted help with a guy who bizarrely wears European medieval armour. Can love prevail? Will Issei get his reward?

I’ve had various training partners throughout my life, but I can’t say any of them could motivate me as much as Rias in that tracksuit. Whatever the time or weather, I would be out there doing whatever she told me to. And if she wanted to sit on me while I work out, then all the better… Sorry, this appears to have descended into some sort of chaotic fantasy…
Anyhow, we were back to the normal life of a devil – handing out fliers and accepting contracts. While this season touches on these ideas a little, they really don’t seem to go anywhere. If anything they are just used here for comedic value. Milton was pretty funny. I didn’t care for the samurai girl scene as that was just far too random and didn’t add anything to the story or the characters.
The best moment, however, was Issei waking up to find Rias sleeping beside him again…naked! Someone needs to give the animators an award or something because this is the most incredibly well-drawn bottom in anime. Imagine waking up next to her and still being an indecisive nerd. Issei has had more than enough opportunities to seize the moment and it’s not as if Rias hasn’t been giving him lots of hints. And then, when she literally tells him to fondle her boobs, he blows it. It’s frustrating to watch, but Issei must be losing his mind.

I’ve binged this thru DxD Hero. I guess they changed studios for the last season? I only find censored versions for this season.
Yeah, the fourth season was a different studio. They changed the style completely. I’m watching on Crunchyroll. It’s uncensored there.
Can’t stand censored shows. It’s like having someone sitting behind you telling you what you can and can’t see.
That is probably why there was no season 5.
It might still happen, but I’m not holding my breath.
