Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time (Episode 6) – Peter Grill and the Orc’s True Character
Peter Grill is forced to spend the night with Piglette Pancetta. Surely, he can hold out. If he doesn’t the guild master will have his head, and there’s nothing he wants more! Don’t do it, Peter!
Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time (Episode 6) – Peter Grill and the Orc’s True Character
What happened?
Peter was sure that Piglette was on the same page as him in regards to being forced into a marriage she didn’t ask for. She may have believed that at one point, but after the day they had, and the aphrodisiac the guild master had put into Piglette’s drink, she is starting to rethink things. However, despite all of her advances, Peter remains strong. He even tells her about Luvelia, but orcs practice polygamy so that doesn’t help. When he turns her down again, she breaks down and cries, asking if it’s because she’s ugly. He tells her she’s beautiful. She kissed him and starts to undress. Can Peter keep it together?
No! Peter didn’t stand a chance as soon as he saw her boobs. He may be the strongest man in the world, but he certainly has a weakness. The next morning, realising that he’d done it again and this time the guild master would find out, he tried to reason his way out of things, pretty much begging Piglette not to tell anyone about what happened. Amazingly, it worked… kind of… Piglette asked if she could join the guild and stay by Peter’s side until he felt the same way about her. That suited the guild master fine. Of course, Piglette had another reason…
What did you think?
This series just gets funnier and funnier and it is absolutely helped by Peter’s VA, Hiro Shimono who also voices Zenitsu from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He absolutely nails the way Peter flip-flops between remaining strong and giving in. The way Peter reacts to stuff is amazing, especially when Piglette went off script and asked to stay by his side.
Of course, the real reason she wanted to do that was to produce a child with Peter that could go back to Orcland and destroy it and everyone that had wronged her. That was a brilliant twist that I didn’t see coming. It also ensures that Piglette will be around to further antagonise Peter. It would appear he’s going to be worked off his feet keeping up with Piglette, Vegan, and the Alpacas sisters. I can’t get enough of this series, it’s dumb but hilarious.
