The Testament of Sister New Devil (Episode 4) – Until Sadness Reaches Zero
What happened?
When Basara was injured, the demon, Lars gave Mio a warning about how she was putting her friends in danger and that only she had the power to stop it. Maria, who was busy looking after Basara, failed to notice as Mio slipped out to take Lars up on his offer. But then Yuki appeared and refused to let Mio sacrifice herself.
Lars appeared to have the upper hand until Basara and Maria arrived to back Yuki up. But then, Basara was injured again and Mio lost control. Her demon powers raged with a fiery fury that Basara only managed to quell with his Banishing Shift. Yuki saw it happen and was happy that Basara had moved on from the incident in the hero village when they were children.
At school, the next day, Basara confronted his friend Yashiro, forcing him to reveal that he is Lars. He was about to attack when Basara made an interesting proposal. Soon after they were done talking Mio came up to the rooftop and tried to kiss Basara, but Yuki got in the way and then Maria showed up. Everyone seemed to get embarrassed about something, but they all appear to be friends… sort of!

What did you think?
Wow! What a comedown from the last episode. I don’t think there was even a single panty shot! Somehow, we went from eating cake off of each other’s bodies to no ecchi content at all. The story was fine but didn’t really blow me away either. There was that one building with the round walls and cylindrical pillars that I swore I had seen in Highschool DxD episode 3. What’s going on with that? Answers in the comments, please. I really want to know what the significance of it is. Normally this series is not safe for work, but you’re probably all right with this episode!
