Momoka had enjoyed Mirei fighting Kasumi, but now she wants in on the fun, especially when she believes that Mamori is the girl she’s been looking for. Can Mirei stand up to another soldier arm without her meds?

What happened?

It turns out that Momoka hates Mirei and holds her responsibly for everything that the organisation did to her. So much so, that she is desperate to kill her. Lady Lady arrives just in time, but they only manage to show why the Soldier Arms are that much stronger. Momoka and her team kidnap Mamori and run off to the tower, believing they’d killed Mirei and the others. However, Meifon was able to arrive at the last second and protect them all with the last of her money!

Momoka tests Mamori to see if she has the Valkyrie Effect and is very happy with the results, even making out that she may go rogue, as no one can stop her now. Mirei is desperate to get back into the fight and save Mamori, so much so, that she heads off alone. Luckily, Lady Lady are keen to assist and have a couple of tricks hidden up their sleeves. Mirei rides into Veste on Lady J while holding Rain Hasume, but the guards let her in without resisting. Inside, they find Charlotte who is driving another of the Soldier Arms. It’s time for Lady Lady’s secret weapon!

What did you think?

Some crazy fights in this one, but nothing was quite as cool as Lady Lady combining to become some sort of mecha Pheonix and the seat was pretty inspired too. We also got to see just how crazy Momoka is, but then it’s also about time someone slapped Charlotte. In reality, there was a surprising amount of action in this episode and things are shaping up nicely for the final episode to have Mirei and Momoka settle their differences. I do have one question though, why are there so many names beginning with M? Is it because everyone just goes Mmmmm when they’re watching it?
