It was another busy week where my time and focus were pulled all over the place. I’m hoping for a calm period, but I already know this week will be more of the same. Hopefully, I can use that to make the most of what time I have!

Favourite Moment!
Last week was officially the end of the Winter 2024 anime season… at least, as far as I was concerned. That means every show that I want to watch has now finished. Let the binge begin! That’s right, it’s time to pick a show and throw myself into it head first. I know I recently had plans to watch the new season in batches of four episodes, however, I’m starting to rethink that. I just finished off one show from last season where I had watched eight episodes and the last four left me scratching my head. Now, it might just be that series because the more I think about the more it was all over the place, but it’s something I need to think about. I have seven shows I want to watch and I haven’t started any of them so it’ll be a good test to see if that’s a more enjoyable experience. My guess is it will be.
Writing!
There was no writing last week which is frustrating. I’m in the middle of a bit of upheaval in my life and until things settle, this is going to be hard to focus on. I do think that once I am settled again, however, this will take a much larger focus. It has to. It’s the one thing I want to do with my life.
Anime!
I only managed to watch eight episodes last week, which is more than my target but considerably less than my recent run of things. I finished watching My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! and this is the series I alluded to earlier in the post. There were some interesting moments, but it also left a lot to be desired. I think it’ll make an interesting review, regardless.

Manga!
The one place where I managed an improvement was with my manga reading. Last week, I managed to read three volumes so I’m keeping up with my goal. One of those books was the second volume of Gleipnir and now that I have all fourteen volumes, I’m going to push through to the end. I loved the anime and can’t wait to find out what happened after that ended.

Aspirations for the week!
Last week, I mentioned that I was going through some things and while I’m feeling a little better about it, I’m not yet ready to go into it. I’m sure I will at some point and when I do, it’ll probably seem like nothing, but it’s been a big adjustment for me, and probably will be going forward. Anyhow, I’m hoping to just keep things going. I want to start writing again and I want to keep up with my schedule. This week is sadly the beginning of the busy period with the day job so that makes things tricky. We’ve also got the solar eclipse to deal with here as the schools have closed.
So, I’m not making any grand plans. At the moment, I just want to keep moving forward so that I’m ready for whatever the future throws at me. I’ve had enough surprises for now, so let’s keep things cool! Anyhow, thanks for reading.
