Dark Schneider intervenes in Arshes Nei and Gara’s fight and quickly turns the tables on Arshes Nei. She almost submits to his advances, but the Blue Nail reminds her of her goal. Then, Yoko gets angry and tells Dark Schneider off.
Bastard‼ Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy (Episode 11) – Prophecy
What happened?
Dark Schneider tried out a new spell on the bridge to Metalicanna – Helloween. It’s incredibly destructive and almost caught Gara in the crossfire. Before Arshes Nei can react, Dark Schneider is behind her. He wraps his arm around her waist and then slips one hand inside her top. She’s almost powerless to resist, especially when he licks her neck. However, the Blue Nail turns purple warning her of her promise to Abigail. She runs away furious with Dark Schneider for trying to sway her. She also sees Yoko as further proof of his lecherous ways.
Back inside the castle, Yoko decides to help out with the food since everyone is working hard to rebuild the castle. However, when Dark Schneider reaches her station, she hands out the tiniest portion. He’s furious but goes back for more. This time, he gets even less followed by a lecture about his womanising. Unfortunately, Yoko stood a little too close and that just made him act like an even bigger dick! She threw a ladle at him and stormed off.
Geo and Princess Sheila visited the old lady that watches over the future. She helped Geo imprison Dark Schneider in Lucien fifteen years ago. Well, she believes that love has allowed Dark Schneider to break the seal on his own, which is crazy! Anyhow, she also sees Dark Schneider dead in a vision. Sheila tries to warn Dark Schneider, but he decides to tell her how evil he is and then molests her, all while Yoko listens at the door. However, the bigger problem they face is Arshes Nei attacking under the cover of a storm.
What did you think?
I’m getting real flashbacks to watching Plunderer and not in a good way. I mean, how could it be a good way when it comes to Plunderer? This episode may well be the one that stops me from continuing. Episode thirteen is the end of part one so it could be a good place to walk away. I’m really not enjoying it and I don’t think I can commit to another eleven episodes in part two, let alone the fifteen episodes in season two. But why? Didn’t this series help me realise where I was going wrong with my own writing? Why, yes it did, however, it was the ED that really opened my eyes. I recall not planning on reviewing it after the first episode, so this has been building.
So, my main problems with this episode were as follows.
- Dark Schneider appearing behind Arshes Nei and molesting her until she ran away.
- The fact that Dark Schneider basically raised Arshes Nei since she was a child and… need I spell it out?
- Dark Schneider smelling Yoko’s virginity.
- Dark Schneider molesting Sheila.
- And finally, why did everyone assume the Dark Rebel Army wouldn’t attack when there was a storm? Do goblins dissolve in water? That was just really, really dumb.
The fact that this episode made me remember Plunderer is a massive red flag. I sat through all twenty-four episodes of that show just to give it the benefit of the doubt. Luckily, Bastard!! seems to have a natural break so I think I’ll be taking a break either way at that point.
