What happened?
When Nanao made her booking with the lesbian brothel and the call girl she thought might be Asumi, she used the alias Nana, hoping that the booking alone would be enough to fluster Asumi into talking about things. Of course, it wasn’t Asumi so it didn’t. Nanao went to the meeting place, still hoping to find out it was Asumi but when it wasn’t, it suddenly occurred to her that she never considered what to do if it wasn’t Asumi. Ena greeted a flustered Nanao and walked her to a Love Hotel. Nanao continued to go through the situation in her head. She didn’t want to upset Ena, but was she really going to go into a Love Hotel with her? Yes, she was!
In the bath, Nanao revealed that she chose Ena because she looked like the person she liked. Ena was kind and calm, helping Nanao to come to terms with her feelings and giving her some advice on how to act and how to approach her. She also helped her with some techniques should things get further than just talking. Nanao came away from the appointment glowing, although she couldn’t shake the feeling that she had just done something incredibly naughty. Asumi came home shortly after Nanao and noticed a familiar smell on her. She shrugged it off as they needed to get bathing suits for the beach trip.
Nanao was determined to confess her feelings to Asumi at the beach, however, she would need to find a moment when they were alone to do it. Since Ouka came with them, that was proving to be very difficult. Did Ouka like Asumi, too? Luckily, Ouka got a little drunk and needed to lie down. During that time, Nanao and Asumi went to the changing room to get ready to go home. Nanao’s shower didn’t work so Asumi suggested they share one… Nanao almost confessed her feelings as they walked back to collect Ouka, but she lost her nerve at the last second. They got on the train home and promptly all fell asleep, waking at the last stop. Luckily, there was a Love Hotel nearby so they booked a room and stayed the night.
Ouka fell asleep quickly, but Nanao couldn’t relax. Asumi tried to calm her by asking her if she liked anyone. When she said she did, she probed for details about this person. Nanao slowly described Asumi and then said the person she liked was beside her! Asumi was flattered, however, she was still looking for Mai. She told Nanao everything about Mai and the lesbian brothel. Nanao was relieved but asked that Asumi give her one day when they could go on a date. On the day of their date, they went shopping, got lunch, visited the aquarium, held hands, had dinner, rode the Ferris wheel, almost kissed, and then walked through the city as night approached. Eventually, they stopped outside a Love Hotel. Asumi turned to Nanao and asked her if she wanted to go in… She did…

What a cliffhanger! Seriously, I can’t believe this is where I have to stop and wait for more books to be released. There isn’t even a pre-order for the next one yet. What the hell am I supposed to do now? This volume was incredible. I loved that it was Ena who was the girl to meet with Nanao and I loved how considerate and gentle she was with her. It was obvious that Nanao was freaking out so having someone like Ena worked out perfectly for her. I’m sure any of the girls we’ve met so far would have been just as nice, but Ena definitely felt like the perfect girl for her. Watching Nanao trying to tell Asumi how she felt kept me on the edge of my seat. Then, when it was revealed that Ouka also likes Asumi, I almost slipped right off.
Their date was excellent. I loved how they were both trying to find the right moment to reach for the other’s hand, but couldn’t do it. It was a huge relief when Nanao reached with a single finger to stroke Asumi’s hand. They are a very cute couple and I loved how it ended with them heading into a Love Hotel. I hope I don’t have to wait long to find out what happens next, but I will be buying the next volume the second it’s available. I love this series. I do want to know how this will play into the Asumi-Mai storyline. I know Asumi told her everything and made out like she still planned on searching for Mai, but will that work if she ends up dating Nanao? Will she be able to keep it as a one-time thing, especially if they’re living together? This series started with a fairly crazy premise but it worked and has evolved into something insanely beautiful. I can’t wait for more…
