Author Journey (May 30, 2022)
Well, I’ve had a busy yet relaxing week and now it’s time to get back to work. By work, I mean making up stories, watching anime, and reading manga… You can see why I needed a vacation!

Hot Topic
So, there’s been a little delay as we ended up missing our connecting flight because of delays to the first one taking off. As a result we had to stay a night in Washington DC. We should be home later today so that’ll be nice.
As to the vacation, we spent a week at Walt Disney World in Florida and had a really good time. The Star Wars area of Disney Studios and the Japanese area of Epcot were my highlights. The kids went mental in the Japanese store with all the anime merchandise. It was a proud dad moment, for sure.
What have I been watching/reading?
I didn’t watch a thing last week.
Seriously, I haven’t watched a thing anime-wise. We have been watching the Disney channel a lot in the hotels and I’m quite taken with Gravity Falls and Amphibia. Gravity Falls is quite addictive and Amphibia is without a doubt an Isekai. At some point, I may have to watch them more seriously.
This episode of Peach Boy Riverside follows on immediately after episode two, but this was episode seven! I still can’t understand why anyone would do that to their show.
In Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood we finally got to see just how much of a badass Roy Mustang is, and it was outstanding.
So, this was the end of season one of Magical Girl Apocalypse and it ended on a pretty massive downer. Things only get crazier from here on, so, buckle up!
Don’t forget that I also review ecchi anime and have these three shows on the go at the moment.
Work in Progress
Obviously, I’ve done nothing although I did have an idea for a story. Don’t worry, it’s only initial idea phase so I’ll put a pin in it for now. I’m excited to get back to work. Seeing the scale of Disney World is quite inspiring. Regardless of how you may perceive some of their methods, what they’ve built is incredible. I’m not saying I want to make a theme park based on my stories, but I do want to build something memorable.
The Plan
Nothing has changed here other than my resolve to get something going. I’ve proven that I can take a complete week off blogging and still continue to run things as normal.
Admittedly, I do want to watch some anime since it’s been a week without any and I’m getting withdrawals. I’ve got a lot of plans and am itching to get back to it.

Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed my vacation and feel like it’s done me the world of good. I’m coming back refreshed and inspired. I actually can’t wait to get back to work.
