Simple Yet Sexy (Episode 5) – The Massage Was Good
What happened?
Well, it turns out that Yukuhashi is a big action movie fan. She’s keen to go see the latest movie – Very Hard on their next date. Hachiya is surprised but in a good way. Yukuhashi is glad that he wants to see what sort of things she’s into, but that seems to remind her how they don’t know that much about one another. She thinks she should dress the way she did when they first went for drinks together. Yukuhashi is worried that she isn’t attractive in her regular clothes. Then, she reveals that she had a store clerk help her with her makeup that time as she doesn’t normally do things like that.
Hachiya tells her that he liked her when she looked like that. However, he also likes how she looks at that moment – her casual clothes after working out. He even likes how she looks in the office. The bottom line is he likes how she looks and he doesn’t want her to worry about things like that. She’s surprised but also relieved. Then, it starts to rain heavily. What will they do? Luckily, there’s a Love Hotel nearby where they can wait for the rain to pass. Hachiya decides it is a good time to show Yukuhashi how much he likes her by giving her a massage…

What did you think?
So, this is the fifth episode and despite each episode being six minutes long we’ve seen a tremendous amount of development when it comes to their relationship. Given that most of each episode is dedicated to sex, that’s quite impressive. This one showed us that Hachiya really likes Yukuhashi. She still has some hangups about her image and whether he really does like her, so it’s nice to see him tell her in no uncertain terms. I’m finding the honesty incredibly refreshing. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that they are having sex and unlike most anime romances, they’re not dancing around each other trying to avoid the inevitable. I think that’s why Domestic Girlfriend worked so well. They actually had sex and were then able to handle real conversations. I’m not saying every romance should be a hentai or involve sex, but I think deliberately avoiding it can make the story seem forced.

This series is a hentai, so some of the highlights will be a little spicy. There won’t be anything too graphic but be warned it is not safe for work beyond this point.
