When Haruka sees Akiho talking with another guy, he gets jealous and tries to impose himself. However, that just impresses the other guy who Akiho had just accidentally set up with Haruka!

What happened?

Haruka saw Akiho talking to Seiya Hoshikawa, a larger-than-life guy. He’s sure that she’ll be unable to resist his charm and flamboyance. After mustering up some courage, he goes to find out what’s happening. Well, it turns out that Seiya struggles to make boy friends and came to Akiho for help. She was excited to help and suggested that he become friends with Haruka, who is a boy. Haruka was so relieved. He was delighted to help Seiya out. That was a relief… just not for Akiho!

The inter-class softball tournament was coming up and Haruka was determined to impress Akiho. However, his pitching wasn’t up to much as it constantly veered to the right. Akiho was sure that wouldn’t be a problem, but Haruka wasn’t convinced. He tried his hand at batting, but that didn’t go so well. Luckily, Seiya was on hand to offer some advice on how to hold the bat. Akiho found them practising in secret and was worried that Haruka might leave her for Seiya!

What did you think?

The misunderstandings continue, but this time it was Akiho that was on the wrong end of things. It was fairly obvious that Seiya was gay and that probably made the accidental matchmaking that much funnier, especially as Akiho realised a moment too late. Of course, Haruka was oblivious and he continued to make it worse thanks to some timely innuendos. I think the girls are starting to rub off on him… Wait, I didn’t mean it like that!

Anyhow, this was a very funny episode and it had a story that pulled it all together. It definitely helps to have something that pulls through. It was fun seeing Akiho and Haruka’s relationship moving on and I was relieved to see that no one got upset. I’m glad that Shizuku and Rina continue to be involved as they offer a little more life than Akiho who is far more deadpan in her delivery. It’s a fun cast for sure and Seiya’s addition is sure to keep everyone on their toes.
