What happened?

Zest leads Basara, Mio and Yuki deep into the belly of the beast in search of its core. Destroying the core is the only way to kill the monster. Of course, it’s not planning on going down without a fight. They finally reach the core, leaving Yuki behind to fight off the monsters. The core is heavily defended and totally doesn’t look like a clitoris… not at all…

Zest offers to sacrifice herself to buy Basara time to attack the clitoris… I mean the core. He agrees and then saves her and destroys the core. Wow, what a guy! The beast explodes and there goes Zolgia’s only hope so Lars drags him away to kill him.

Once the monster has been destroyed Basara slipped away and met up with Lars so that he could witness Zolgia’s death. Lars finishes him off in exchange for Basara vouching for him with Mio.

Everyone heads back home while Yuki is watching over Zest. Basara goes to see Mio and things get a little hot and heavy, but then Yuki barges in, with Zest in tow, and takes over. Basara runs out of the room and finds Maria to help solve the dispute between Mio and Yuki. They pressure her to pick sides, but Maria instead chooses Basara and gives him a kiss too!

What did you think?

It’s the end of the season and I suppose we got some closure with Zolgia’s death, but otherwise, it’s been a fairly up and down season. There have been some great moments, mostly ecchi, and some dull moments, mostly not ecchi. Now, as much as I enjoyed the ecchi, I can’t help but be completely uninterested in the story. If this had been a more intriguing story with the same ecchi it would have been incredible, possibly one of the best. Otherwise, it’s fairly average. For the final episode of the season, you can bet there is going to be not safe for work images! Enjoy!
