What happened?

As Michio equips Sherry for their first trip to the labyrinth, he asks her about skill slots and is surprised to hear that she doesn’t really believe in them. Of course, we know differently from Michio, but it once more confirms that everything is not quite as the people believe it to be in this world. In the labyrinth, Sherry is amazed at how fast Roxanne can move and also that Michio can use magic like a mage. Afterwards, they head home to have some dinner.

Michio finds himself in some difficult situations as he tries to navigate the pitfalls of having Sherry and Roxanne. If he gets the order in which he does things wrong, he’s going to pay for it. While eating, Michio brings up the fact that only dwarves can become blacksmiths and only beast folk can become beast warriors. He wants to know if there is a human-only job class. There is, although it makes both Roxanne and Sherrry uneasy. That job class is sex maniac!

So, with that piece of information, they head to the bath to prepare for bed. Roxanne shows Sherry how to clean Michio with her body and after they’ve had a nice relaxing soak, they head to the bedroom. Both Roxanne and Sherry emerge wearing the satin nighties and it blows Michio’s mind. He explains to Sherry that he likes to kiss them before bed and when he wakes up, however, he kissed her before Roxanne and it takes some quick thinking to avoid any further trouble. He has sex with Roxanne first before sleeping with Sherry for the first time. Then, Roxanne joins in.

Once Michio is asleep, Sherry asks Roxanne if it’s always like this. She confirms that it is, but it’s also a lot of fun. In the morning, Michio wakes up to discover that he has a new job class- sex maniac and it comes with some big boosts to his stamina, magic, and intelligence. Not wanting to pass up this opportunity, he declares that they will be buying some more girls…

What did you think?

I was really enjoying this series and had high hopes for some real revelations in the future. I wanted to know how Roxanne and Sherry became slaves. What happened in their lives before this point and were they now in a better position? I wanted to see if Michio could get the skills slots to work and whether he could get Sherry to become a blacksmith. Then, there was the glimpse of the other girls we saw back in episode two. I wanted to see Michio defeat a labyrinth. There was so much potential even with the slave angle.

Then, we got to the last couple of minutes of this episode and it became glaringly apparent that they were not going to make any more episodes as Michio embraced the sex maniac job class and built his harem in a short montage of clips. I still enjoyed the episode and would love to see another season, however, I feel like that montage was the end. Seriously, I can’t believe we only got a tiny segment with the redheaded dragonkin – Vesta. I saw her in the OP and couldn’t wait to get to spend some time with her in the show. I guess I’ll be off searching for the manga now then. I’ve had a blast. Hopefully, there will be more.
