Seiichi learns that Oliga has a slave collar that is forcing her to be an assassin. Unfortunately, the only person that can remove it is the one that put it there… Well, that was until Seiichi showed up!

What happened?

Lorna begins to interrogate Oliga, the assassin that attempted to kill Ranze. After she pulls out a bowl of pork cutlets and starts to eat them, Seiichi barges in and takes over. He gives Oliga some food while Louise explains that the slave collar is probably what forced her to attempt to kill Ranze. Unfortunately, only the person that put it there can remove it.

Talking of him, he’s discovered that the attempt failed and that Oliga had been captured. The King tells him to take care of her instantly while his knight chases down the person that attempted to kill him. They have a bit of a standoff where the assassin calls him a puppet and explains why he tried to kill the king. All very touching stuff…

Anyhow, Seiichi attempt to create a spell that would remove the slave collar. His mind wanders to President Lincoln who famously freed the slaves. The spell activates, summoning a statue of Lincoln who breaks the slave collar. Now, that Oliga is free, Seiichi tells her to live with them. She can even think of him as her big brother.

What did you think?

This episode was peak awful. It was also hilarious, especially when he summoned the statue of Lincoln. There was the bizarre fight scene in the middle of the episode that came with its own flashback. A flashback from a character that we’ve only just met and probably care little about which involved another character that we’ve never seen before. It was all a load of rubbish. Still, even with this poorly laid out episode and baffling pacing, it wasn’t a terrible episode. It wasn’t good, but I’ve certainly seen worse. Can’t wait for them to shoehorn the actual plot into the last two episodes!
