The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made (Episode 12) – Before I Knew It, It’s the Final Episode!?

What happened?

Seiichi’s allies were spread across the battlefield desperately trying to keep up with so many monsters. He watched from the tower and wondered what he could do. There had to be a way to destroy the monsters, but leave his friends unharmed. After a while, he settled on a plan and tried to visualise the spell. Before long a giant statue of Lady Justice appeared behind him with her sword held up. Then, nothing happened. Had he done something wrong?

However, he just had to wait a moment as Lady Justice cast her knowing eye across the battlefield. Before long she had judged and her action would be swift. Bolts of lightning burst from the heavens striking down all the monsters. It also targeted Gustle and Eris, but they didn’t seem to mind. If anything, they seemed to enjoy it!

Amazed at Seiichi’s spell, Barnabus, the head of the Barbador Magical Academy wanted Seiichi to teach at his school. However, Seiichi couldn’t leave until Louise had returned. He also didn’t want to leave his friends, so Barnabus gave them all roles as well. It looked like Seiichi was about to embark on a new adventure!

The Fruit of Evolution Episode 12 Saria and Seiichi

What did you think?

This was actually a pretty decent conclusion to this part of the story, especially as it sets up a situation where Seiichi would be reunited with his classmates. The worrying thing is that there probably won’t be another season. Saria teased that there might be in the credits, but even that felt like a continuation of the way this series parodies everything. It was a pretty average series overall, but it gave me some good laughs and as such, I don’t regret watching it.
