Seiichi has barely been able to explain Lulune’s appearance to Artoria before he is arrested by two Valkyries and taken away. Meanwhile, the demon lord has gathered her generals and plans on making peace!

What happened?

Artoria and Saria found Seiichin in the stables with a naked girl and are demanding answers. When he tries to tell them that the girl is Lulune who evolved after eating the fruit of evolution, Artoria has a hard time believing him. Of course, Saria understands and even transforms into her ape form to prove it. Artoria doesn’t seem convinced, but she does take Lulune away and find her some clothes.

However, two Valkyries, Lorna and Claudia come into the shop and take Seiichi away in restraints. Of course, it’s not because he’s done anything… well, other than win the Royal Cup. They take him to the training ground where he gets to see Louise Balze, the commander showing off her skills. She’s keen to see what Seiichi is made of and hands him a training sword. He just wants to leave, but his skills adapt and he ends up winning.

Louise is determined to call him her master and Claudia is just happy that Louise now has someone to work with. Their joy is short-lived when the king is attacked. They tell Seiichi to go home, but he’s not about to walk away. Also, the demon lord, Lutia has gathered her generals and hopes to push for peace, especially after learning that one human defeated the Black Dragon God!

What did you think?

There is something oddly enjoyable about watching people’s reactions to an overpowered character, especially when they weren’t expecting it. It was another great and yet distinctly average episode, but that seems to be the charm of the show. I had to laugh when Louise and Claudia were hugging after they had accepted Seiichi as their master. Lousie had just given a speech about how she’s never had a friend before and now that she’s found someone stronger than her, maybe she can feel somewhat normal. Meanwhile, Claudia is quite obviously her friend and had to sit there listening to that. It’s as if everyone’s dialogue is being written independently from everyone else’s. Still, it was a lot of fun and it looks like another girl has been added to the harem!
