What happened?

Seiichi was the odd kid who was bullied and tormented by the other students. Then, when a god told them they were all going to another world and that they should form parties, no one wanted to party with Seiichi. As a result, the god gave him another skill and teleported him individually. However, he landed in the jungle, alone and with no supplies.

After five days, Seiichi found a strange fruit that his skill appraised as the fruit of evolution. He was so hungry that he ate it and then found some more, which he took from some level 120 Clever Monkeys. He was just level 1 still.

For the next five months, he struggled to survive although his skills were getting stronger and with every monster he defeated, his Maximum Harvest skill gave him the best possible item drop. Before long, he attracted the attention of a pink gorilla who called herself Saria. She was over level 700 and wanted to fight! However, Seiichi impressed her so much that she asked him to marry her!

What did you think?

I actually enjoyed this episode. There were a lot of borrowed ideas from other Isekai anime such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest. However, it’s quite clear that this one isn’t taking itself the least bit seriously and that seems to be paying off. I had a good laugh at the ridiculous nature of things and am already looking forward to the next episode where we will find out who the busty naked redhead is (spoiler, it’s probably the gorilla, Saria).
