Seiichi and Saria continue their training with Artoria, however, while on their final challenge, they are all teleported to the Black Dragon God’s dungeon where they will need to fight their way out!

What happened?

Their first challenge to becoming an adventurer was to gather some medicinal herbs. Saria managed to find them easily, however, Seiichi could only find incredibly rare herbs and items. Luckily, he spotted a group of demons and approached them to ask for some help. They thought that he had overheard their plan to attack the humans and attacked him. When he easily blocked a terrifying attack, they turned tail and ran.

Artoria ended up helping Seiichi with the herbs and they got to the next challenge which was to defeat ten slimes. Seiichi went to attack, but the slime mysteriously vanished. After a moments inspection, Artoria called off the mission as someone had placed teleportation magic traps everywhere. As they left, Artoria activated another trap. Seiichi and Saria jumped to help but were all teleported to a dungeon.

They were split up soon after arriving and after a while, Seiichi and Saria noticed that their Guide Stone was glowing, indicating that Artoria was in trouble. They raced to help unaware that Artoria was fighting the Black Dragon God and it wasn’t going so well. Would they arrive in time?

What did you think?

The writing in this series is awful. It really is and there is no disguising it. However, it’s also kind of entertaining. If nothing else shows like this should inspire us to do better and give us hope that one day we might see our own work turned into an anime. It certainly couldn’t be worse. This series’ saving grace is the fact that it seems to know its limitations and strengths. That means it’s able to get away with stupid jokes like Guide Stones being utterly hopeless at giving directions. Anyhow, see you next week for more.
