Cat Planet Cuties (Episode 7) – We’ve Come to Swim

It’s the start of the new school term and Kio is surprised to find out that Eris has joined his class. Not only that, but Antonia has arrived too. Now, if there was just a way to get them all to go to the beach…

Cat Planet Cuties (Episode 7) – We’ve Come to Swim

What happened?

Eris and Antonia join Kio’s school and then sign up for the video club so that they can go on the camp with Kio. Of course, Aoi and Manami also sign up. With Antonia’s resources, they are driven in style to the beach where they will be camping… Only no one told Aoi and Manami that they were going to the beach. Luckily, Antonia has prepared an array of swimwear for Eris and the other girls are welcome to anything that Eris doesn’t want.

They come out of the changing tent to see what the boys think, however, Aiko has put her bikini bottoms on back to front. Normally, that wouldn’t be much to get excited about, however, these are swimsuits designed for a Catian. That’s right, they have a hole for the tail. Amazingly, no one noticed until it was too late.

Later that night, Kio asks Aoi to help him learn to fight. She’s upset because she fought he was going to confess his love for her. Eris finds Aoi alone on the beach and offers her some barbecued meat. Aoi is upset about Kio and takes it out on Eris, who then hugs her and says that they are the same. Surprisingly, Aoi finds comfort in that.

Then, out of nowhere, someone attacks their beach camp. It turns out to be the Dogishuan assist droids that sank on Antonia’s ship who are searching for parts to repair themselves. Aoi stops them thanks to some help from a strange girl who appears out of the blue.

What did you think?

This episode had less of a gut punch. Even though Aoi’s moment was sad and then uplifting, it didn’t have the same feeling as Manami’s moments from the last episode. Of course, the real feature of this episode was that they went to the beach and tried on loads of bikinis. That’s right, it’s the beach/bikini episode. What are you waiting for? Dive in already.

It was a fun episode, but there wasn’t a great deal more than the girls in bikinis… Seriously, I’m unsure if that’s a complaint or not. Either way, check out the highlights below and enjoy!
