Noir’s life has really turned around since he met Olivia, which is why he can’t leave her chained up in the dungeon for another two hundred years. He will find a way to free her, but what will it cost him?

What happened?

The new family shop is open and people seem excited by the rare and wonderful items that Noir has gathered. It’s amazing how far he’s come after losing his job to another noble all that time ago. He really has changed since he met Olivia and received her skills. If only there was a way to properly thank her.

Noir goes to the dungeon to see Olivia and tells her that he will find a way to free her. She’s worried for him and tells him not to, but he won’t listen. Noir seeks some guidance from the Great Sage who tells him that he believes the answer might be on the fifteenth floor. So, off he goes. However, when he gets to the fourteenth he comes across an obstacle that he’s not willing to do.

Luckily, there was another choice. He just needs to have someone with him, so he recruits Emma to help. They return to the fourteenth floor and enter a room where they are approached by goblins that demand food and to be entertained. Noir poisons them and that gives Emma the chance to stomp on them.

On the fifteenth floor, they find something that looks like Olivia. However, it’s a clone created by the death chains. There’s a sign saying they need to free her without killing her. They do, but then the clone attacks and almost kills them. Luckily, Noir was able to use the elevator skill to jump out of there.

After telling the real Olivia what they did, they return home to find more information. Noir bumps into Luna and Lola who give him an LP boost before he goes to the library and finds some information about Olivia. He learns a new skill that he believes will be the key but then finds the clone is in the city. She attacks and it looks like she’s about to win!

What did you think?

There was very little fan service in this episode, but I was fine with that. Freeing Olivia seems like the obvious goal at this point and I’m glad we’re working toward that. Whether Noir succeeds or not, we’ll have to wait until the next episode as we’re left with a massive cliffhanger. It was nice to see Olivia with her eyes open, even if it wasn’t really her.

So, who wants a Lola Luna sandwich? Sign me up! One enjoyable thing about this series has been the characters. There are some pretty obvious character types, but they’ve been fun to be with and made this series that much more entertaining. It’s been a lot of fun and I’m excited to see the final episode.
