The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter (Episode 12) – A Battle I Can’t Lose
What happened?
The Death Chain clone of Olivia had pretty much defeated Noir. All that was left was for it to put him out of his misery. It’s not looking good. Even Olivia can sense the impending doom from within the dungeon, but why did she give Noir her skills, to begin with…
More than two hundred years ago, a young wannabe adventurer approached Olivia and asked her to train him. She refused. However, he wasn’t one to give up and asked her over and over and over again. Finally, Olivia gave him a chance to prove himself. He failed. She told him to give up.

Of course, he didn’t give up. Instead, he would catch up with Olivia whenever he could and ask her questions. After a while, she didn’t seem to mind, but then one day she was having a drink at the bar when the barman told her something had happened to her apprentice.
He had died saving a child. Could she have prepared him more? Is it a coincidence that he looks almost identical to Noir? Who knows. But it wasn’t long after that that Olivia was imprisoned in the dungeon.
Luckily for Noir, Emma, Luna, Lola, and Leila came to his aid. They fought the Olivia clone for a while, but she was too strong and knocked them all back. It was down to just Noir and the clone once more, but this time he sacrificed all of his skills except Creative and won. The Death Chains were defeated and Olivia was free. Now, how about topping up his LP?

What did you think?
So, we had to wait a little while to get to the conclusion of the cliffhanger and I’m not even that mad. We knew Noir was going to win so don’t even try to complain. I was just happy to see more of Olivia moving around and being sassy. The fight was fine but didn’t make a lot of sense, especially with two combatants with broken overpowered skills. At one point, the Olivia clone raised the body temperature of all the girls by five degrees, taking them out of the fight. It was a good tactic, but then, she could have just done that to Noir and made it even easier.
And finally, when Noir won, I’m not sure exactly how he won. I’m assuming he used his LP to do something to his sword so that it could use the dragon fire, but your guess is as good as mine. It was nice to see the whole thing come to a satisfactory conclusion. I can’t imagine there will be a season two, but I’d watch one if there was. This was a good easy watch with fun characters and an interesting world. It’s far from perfect, but that’s fine.
