What is the best way to follow up a week-long real-life family event? That’s right… another one! Hopefully, this one will be shorter because I am falling behind on just about every front. I desperately need more time!

Favourite Moment!

I knew that last week was going to be tough with the reporting period in the day job and a planned week-long real-life family event, however, I may have underestimated just how tough it was going to be. It took several late nights and even this morning to get through all of my reporting, trying to fit it in around the planned event. That left very little time for anything else. So, just getting through the week in one piece has to be my favourite moment. Hopefully, it will be one of the things that will help reduce real-life family events going forward. I know it’s not going to eliminate them completely, but any sort of reduction would be greatly appreciated.

The Week That Was…

With everything going on with real-life and work-life, there was very little time for anything else. Amazingly, I did manage to read two volumes of manga. I started on a third but ran out of time to finish it off.

My attempts to watch anime took a massive hit as I only managed to watch one episode… and it was only twelve minutes long. I hope this doesn’t continue because I’m certain that the lack of fun definitely impacted my mood and stress levels last week.

As you might imagine, I didn’t do anything else…

Aspirations for the week!

So, this week started with a little bit of the day job creeping into my time off and then another real-life family event. That means that getting anything done today is going to be tricky. Hopefully, the rest of the week will be less eventful, especially as I am now on vacation from the day job until January 6, 2025. If that stays relatively event-free, I should be able to get lots done. There are still lots of jobs around the house to get on top of and I need to catch up on my posts as I have just one scheduled post ready to roll.

I feel like I’ve been in survival mode for too long now where it’s taking everything I have just to maintain the status quo. I think back fondly to the time I had something like eighty scheduled posts waiting to be released… Maybe, I’ll get back to that at some point in the New Year. I hope so. Anyhow, I’ve got things to do, so thanks for reading!

    Don’t underestimate that! That’s a major accomplishment.

Periods of change are tough. I hate them, even if they’re heading in the right direction, which isn’t always obvious to me at the time! Fingers crossed events calm down for you!

    • Thanks. I always strive for so much more, but I will take it. It was probably the closest I’ve come to cracking in a while though. I hope this week is better.
