What happened?
The city of Tokyo, probably the entire nation watched as the giant naked lady battled with the God of Destruction. Little did they know that she was fighting for one person – the one she loved, Rei. And now, it looked like she was about to lose it all. However, just before the God of Destruction released the fireball, Chiho grabbed hold of the top of a skyscraper and shrank her body. The God of Destruction lost sight of her in the chaos. Chiho ran along the top of the building and then dived into the God of Destruction’s body. She instantly grew once more, ripping it apart from the inside.
Chiho shrank back down once she saw Rei and ran to hug him. He was a mess but also relieved that she was all right. She told him that she ran out to save him as soon as she saw what was happening. Rei’s parents arrived moments later and were stunned to see a girl who looked like the giant naked lady wearing their son’s jacket. Rei told them that she was his girlfriend and that she had saved them. Chiho showed them how she could grow, much to Rei’s father’s shock. They took a taxi home, however, Rei’s mother had some questions, and none of them made anyone feel at ease. Rei told her to butt out. He was happy so what did anything else matter?
Soon after the event, Chiho was arrested by the police and charged with insurrection, despite the news outlets calling her a hero. Rei watched over her dog, Mochi and sent her letters to keep her spirits up. However, the strange events didn’t stop there. Soon a fleet of UFOs appeared in the sky and began to suck people into them. Another ETE event occurred while Rei was at school. Giants appeared across the city and began to play with people as if they were children playing with toys. Rei almost ended up like one of those toys but was saved by the police, arriving just in time to bring the giant down. He made it home, but then a giant hand burst through his window as he slept!

EPIC!!! I don’t know if I can use that word enough to describe this volume. The battle between Chiho and the God of Destruction was…epic! I loved how she outsmarted it by shrinking and then growing once inside of it. She’s not just a giant naked lady with enormous boobs! Chiho is remarkably resourceful. Of course, then we got to see the topic of their age difference coming into play. He’s sixteen and she’s twenty-four. His mother was pretty upset. Wait until she finds out what Chiho does for a living! My guess is his father already knows and is keeping his mouth shut. Anyhow, as if that wasn’t traumatic enough, Chiho was arrested, tried for insurrection, and sentenced to death despite saving the city. I bet the guy who saved New York wasn’t arrested.
Anyhow, then we had the UFOs randomly sucking hordes of people into their ships before disappearing. That alone was pretty bad and reminded me of the movie Skyline which had a similar scene which left me scarred. But that was nothing. Then, we had the giants who all looked and acted like people. Some were like kids so their actions made sense even if it was all insane. Seeing Rei and Hiroshi running from the giants was terrifying. It was like Attack on Titan, but the Titans are children who can talk and are openly saying that they are going to throw people at walls and stuff. This series is absolutely wild, but I can’t get enough. It was a very quick read, but that might just be because I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I need to find out what happens next!
