Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls (Episode 4) – Everyday Life with a Slime
What happened?
Mia and Centorea were excited to begin dating Kimihito. Meanwhile, Papi was too involved in her video game and just wanted someone to play with her. However, Kimihito had just finished preparing dinner so there would be no games until after. Then, as Mia inspected the pot, she noticed something odd. A slime jumped out and latched onto her head, suffocating her. They managed to get it off before it could do too much damage, but Mia needed some time to recover. Then, the slime jumped onto Kimihito. Centorea tried to fight it off with her sword, but that didn’t work too well. In fact, they both just ended up covered in slime and in need of a bath. Kimihito ran in first, but Centorea wanted to come in too and make sure he wasn’t attacked again. However, as they relaxed in the bathtub, the slime reappeared. It landed on top of Kimihito and then transformed into a humanoid figure, a busty female figure! Then, she began to wash him in a similar manner to how he had washed Centorea a moment ago. Was it copying them? However, as she washed Kimihito she ended up encasing his head within her body. He only escaped by jumping into the bath.
After things had calmed down, Centorea, Mia, and Kimihito had a discussion about what to do. The slime must have come from their world illegally. She was either smuggled in or came by accident, but either way, her presence could be a problem for the interspecies exchange program and she could get Kimihito in trouble too. As they discussed the options, Papi decided to take matters into her own hands… well, her feet. She picked up Suu, the slime girl and flew away. Kimihito raced after her and eventually caught up with them next to the river. There some kids appeared who wanted to play with Papi. It would appear that she sneaks out a lot to play with them. They were having a water fight. After seeing how it worked, Suu wanted to play too. The game stopped when one of the little girls almost got hit by a car. She only survived because Suu took the impact. However, the bridge started to break and Suu almost fell into the river which could have killed her. Luckily, Kimihito was able to catch her in the back of a truck. It would appear Suu would be staying with them for a while!

What did you think?
It’s episode four and we now have our fourth monster girl, and as you might expect the boob count has increased as a result. That said, things were considerably more booby than any of the other episodes and Suu’s variable chest size definitely had something to do with that. Even Papi was mystified by them. Those kids were certainly big fans too. Anyhow, things felt a little more settled with Kimihito as he seemed to have gotten used to the crazy situation that had fallen into his lap. I’m not sure how Suu will shake things up, but you can guarantee that she will.
As well as the introduction of Suu, I noticed that Centorea continues to get a lot of one-on-one time with Kimihito. I know she has some catching up to do compared to Mia, especially as they seem like the main rivals at this stage. Papi seems to be more childlike and Suu, despite her ability to change size and shape, also has some childish qualities that put her in the same category. I’m not saying that they don’t have a chance. Just at this stage is feels like a two-horse race… err… a horse and a snake race… I don’t know!

What was your highlight?
Agent Smith was in this episode for about two seconds and she still managed to make an impact. Of course, she was at the house waiting at the door when Kimihito and Papi returned with their illegal monster girl friend, Suu. How will Agent Smith react to this revelation? Was it all part of her plan or will she pretend like she never saw anything? Either way, it was a funny way to end the episode and leave us waiting for the answer in the next episode. I loved their reactions when they opened the door and found Agent Smith standing there.
I also had a real laugh about the two people driving the truck and their over-the-top obnoxious attitudes to just about everything. They were a real couple of dumb dumbs! It’s worth noting that they were the same two who were making fun of Mia back in episode one. The two that were on the receiving end of Kimihito’s fist. Anyhow, like I said, this series is a lot of fun and there are clearly a lot more great moments to come.
