Tsugu Tsugumomo (Episode 20) – New Club Members

Akito and Mimane join the Trouble Shooters Club in an attempt to get a better understanding of Kazuya and Kiriha, plus Kukuri is their advisor, but things take a turn when more Tsugumomos arrive!

Tsugu Tsugumomo (Episode 20) – New Club Members

What happened?

Akito manages to convince Azami that joining the Trouble Shooters Club is a good idea and that they can learn a lot about Kazuya, Kiriha, and Kukuri. Azami seems distracted by the handkerchief Kazuya gave her but tells them that he must not be harmed. Meanwhile, Kazuya had another dream about his mother and saw himself as a child creating an Amasogi.

Kiriha gives Akito and Mimane their first assignment as there is an Amasogi on the school grounds. It would appear that one of the students has managed to create a durian Amasogi and encased himself within. Mimane copies Kiriha and attempts to smash it open, but it’s too hard. Shirou suggests that they need boobs to entice the student out. Mimane who is still a copy of Kiriha at this point, instantly strips but it’s no good. She runs off with another idea, still naked.

Mimane returns and transforms into a naked version of Arumi, but then Arumi chases her down and strips her instead. Ironically, an exposed Mimane was exactly what they needed to entice the student out. Later, Mimane goes to Kazuya’s house and invades everyone’s baths. Kokuyou goes off to meet with four Tsugumomos that have entered their domain and is badly beaten. Taguri arrives and saves Kokuyou, but warns the others that they appear to be coming for Kukuri.

What did you think?

This was a slower and more considered episode. The flashbacks for Kazuya raise some interesting questions about his mother and what happened to her. Expecting things to get fairly dark on that front. Then, we see Azami and her other half plotting. Again, there’s more to this than we are seeing right now and I’m looking forward to the big finish to the season. It should be exciting, especially with Akito, Arumi, and Mimane finding themselves in a difficult position.

Mimane continues to be a constant source of entertainment with her no holds barred approach to everything. I had to laugh at the scene after the ED. It was pretty obvious it was Mimane, but still funny. Not so much ecchi content in this episode, but there was some. It’s been a very enjoyable series so far and I fully expect that to continue.
