Tsugumomo (Episode 1) – The Scent of Cherry Blossoms

Kazuya is your average high school student except that at all times he has the obi of the kimono of his late mother on him. Luckily, for Kazuya, it pays off when he is attacked by a wig and his obi is a tsukumogami!

Tsugumomo (Episode 1) – The Scent of Cherry Blossoms

What happened?

After waking from an odd dream, Kazuya finds his hands resting on his friend, Chisato’s boobs and she’s none too pleased about it. However, when she knocks him to the ground, he accidentally sees her panties and the beat down continues. Having escaped, he heads to the rooftop for a moment of quiet with his departed mother’s obi. A wig is lying on the ground and as Kazuya tries to walk past it, it attacks him, knocking them both off the roof.

Kazuya is saved by a strange cushion that then transforms into a girl with pointy ears and sharp teeth. Then, another girl shows up with a big black wig and attacks Kazuya. Kiriha pulls Kazuya away and says that he is her servant and that the wig can’t have him. Kazuya isn’t so sure about all of this, but Kiriha persuades him otherwise. After saving him from the girl and the wig, Kiriha reveals that the girl was a boy and if she’d not saved him the wig would have abused his every orifice until its lust had been sated…

Kiriha vanishes, but reappears in Kazuya’s bed, much to his surprise. However, that’s nothing compared to when he walked into the bathroom to find her showering. Expecting to be beaten to within an inch of life, Kazuya si shocked when she tells him to wash her back. She then washes his back and talks about how they hadn’t done this in a long time. Kazuya is confused but strangely feels the same way. Kiriha then makes a joke about his dick and tries to grab him! After the awkward shower, they went to bed, but Kazuya was finding it hard to sleep!

What did you think?

I went into this series knowing absolutely nothing about it and after one episode, I’m probably not that much wiser. It was, however, very funny and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Kiriha is excellent and I can already tell she’s going to be a lot of fun. Kazuya looks like the kind of protagonist that is going to continuously find himself in accidental situations that paint him out to be a pervert and will no doubt get hit a lot. This series is already shaping up to be a nice easy one to get through and with season two airing soon, it’s the perfect time to catch up. I think I’m going to like this one.
