What happened?
Takuya and Amanda split up as they approach the city, aware that both of their faces are known. They agree to meet up at a rebel base deep in the city. On the way there, Takuya is recognized and pursued by guards, only for a mysterious figure to pull him into a small room.
The figure transforms into Eriko. She restores Takuya’s memories from her arc and informs him that Ryuzuuji is here. She also goes on to tell him about the Tree of Vrinda and how the events at Dela Grando repeat themselves every 400 years. Then, she sends him on his way, unable to help due to her role as a dimension officer.
Takuya and Amanda meet at the base along with their fellow prisoners from the quarry. They make their plans to attack but are aware of a masked warrior that is actively going against them. That night, Amanda visits Takuya and asks a favour of him. One that I’m pretty sure he’s not going to refuse…
What did you think?
Firstly, let’s talk about Kunkun. Did they really eat her? It certainly looked that way based on the tiny grave Takuya made for her. Seriously! That is messed up. It was great, however, to see Eriko again, although a shame that she can’t really do much unless it relates to the evil spirit that she’s chasing. Still, she is the best girl, so it was nice for her to stop by. The ending makes for a very interesting start to the next episode.
We’re closing in on the ending and the reveal of the Emperor. I still think it’s Ayumi, Takuya’s stepmother. Either way, it’s going to be interesting, that’s for sure.
