YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (Episode 25) – The Promised Ritual
So, the ritual must happen or everyone in Dela Granto and Earth will die. Not only that, but it must be Yu-No! What will Takuya do and where has Ryuuzouji gone?
YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (Episode 25) – The Promised Ritual
What happened?
Well, it looks like everyone is on board with Yu-No going through with the ceremony and possibly dying. Takuya sheds a tear but is remarkably unmoved by the whole situation. The ceremony gets underway with Amanda and her rebels now guarding it against Ryuuzouji, who shows up just after it has begun. But worry not, Ayumi has set a trap and captures Ryuuzouji. He’s already thought of that, however, an unleashes an army of floating sperm onto the citizens… I mean spirits. They definitely don’t look like sperm…
Then a number of dimensional rifts appear, sucking random people into the void. One opens up by Takuya, but he manages to leap out of the way. Amanda, however, is not so lucky and finds herself falling inside. Takuya dives to save her, but he can’t and she ultimately falls away, the rift closing behind her.
The ceremony continues as Mother attempts to imprint her consciousness onto Yu-No so that she can save both worlds, but it’s taking forever and there are a lot of sperm… I mean spirits!
What did you think?
In the last episode, I got have a little celebratory moment and it looks like I’ll be doing it again. Why’s that you ask? Well, back in episode 21 I made the comment that Amanda looked remarkably like Kanna’s mother from her photo. They even had the same colour clothes and her right eye was hidden behind her hair. So, Amanda getting sucked into the rift will no doubt emerge on Earth back in time where she will have a baby, Takuya’s baby and she will call her Kanna! That’s right! Takuya is Kanna’s father and quite frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being his own father at this rate!
There’s one episode left and frankly, anything can happen. It’s been a wild ride and I can’t wait to see how it ends.
