Ayumi asked Takuya to bring some important documents to her office. He did as she asked but that didn’t seem to help. Her day spiralled out of control from there, leaving her to come home drunk and exhausted.

What happened?

Takuya arrived at school and decided to head to the infirmary for some relaxation, but when he got there he found Kanna who was having unexplained fevers. She also had a necklace that sparks a memory from Takuya’s childhood. Later, Takuya ran into Mitsuki who told him that something odd is going on with Principal Ryuuzouji, something that Takuya is well aware of after he pulled a gun on him that night with the elf.

Ayumi contacted the school in search of Takuya. She left some important documents at home and wanted him to bring them in for her. Takuya arrived at Geotech Headquarters to find an angry mob of protesters and Kaori Asakura, the reporter. He took the documents to Ayumi, dodging Toyotomi, the foreman’s attempts to intercept them.

A public consultation took place shortly after, allowing Toyotomi to steal the documents anyhow. It didn’t go well for Ayumi, who then got egged by an angry member of the public (paid by Kaori) before doing a live interview with Kaori. Ayumi arrived home later, drunk and frustrated at the day she’s had!

What did you think?

Lots happened in this episode, but it surprisingly didn’t feel like it. I get the feeling that most of it is set up for the episodes to come. You really have to watch everything with this series. I’m sure there are clues everywhere so that when stuff finally happens it will all make sense. I am still very much enjoying this series. It has a great balance of interesting characters and mysterious events happening. If you’ve not started watching this, it’s well worth doing.
