Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! (Volume 8) – An Incredible Battle of Wills!

What happened?

Misora was still coming to terms with her fight where her costume fell apart, exposing her entire body on TV. She’d done a lot of Gravure stuff so the important parts were always hidden, but now everyone had seen everything. The idea was kind of hot. Misora was shocked to find out that she was getting excited just thinking about it. Later at the TV studio, she ran into Hatsumin who was keen to tell her about how she was moving up in the world and how that Misora was nothing more than her sex slave… Well, she didn’t just tell her, she pretty much confirmed it in the bathroom. Anyhow, there’s more to it than that as Hatsumin seems to be jealous of Misora and Akira’s relationship.

Back at Space Wolf’s office, the boss is keen to tell everyone that they shouldn’t expect good times forever. Things may be going well right now, but that can change. So, in an attempt to capitalise on the success Misora is having with the KGB group, he’s going to set up another group to be the next generation. Thankfully, they already have Utako who will lead the group and since she has K-cup boobs, they just need to recruit a girl with G-cup boobs and another with B-cup boobs. Should be easy, right? The auditions attracted a large number of girls who were given a chance to show what they could do.

One girl was Nosaka Nagisa, the girl’s sumo openweight world champion. She was also in the second round of preliminaries for the Valkyrie Opera. Part of the reason that she wanted to join was that she idolised sumo wrestles from a young age, but since she’s a girl, she can’t compete in traditional attire. After seeing Misora in the first preliminary tournament, she realised that she is more than a sumo wrestler and hopes to show that. She even had a quick fight with Misora to show what she’s capable of, and knocked her out! The next girl to be selected was Nekomiya Miya, a trans-girl. Both girls went through three rounds of judging and an online vote to join the second generation of KGB.

The second preliminary tournament for the Valkyrie Opera got underway in an explosive fashion. The first fight was decided in the bathroom when one fighter sought to gain an advantage by catching her opponent unaware. That didn’t go so well for her. Next, Laila Mendez faced off against Catherine Boisin and while she won, she got lucky when Catherine missed a clear opportunity to win. We got to see the frightening speed and strength of Yin Xiaomin as she destroyed Oshima Aki. Next up was Shannon Harley who faced Sonia Karenina. However, the main event was when Nosaka Nagisa fought Eve Ogundibe in an incredible battle of wills.

What did you think?

I love how Misora isn’t really fazed by anything. Hatsumin has been a fairly awful person to her, although Sara is still by far the most manipulative, especially since she arranged for her to test a new sex toy in the hopes that it would tire her out and force her to withdraw from the Valkyrie Opera so that she could do her show instead. However, Misora even offered to go out for dinner with Hatsumin despite how she spoke or treated her, and that made Hatsumin reveal her real issue – she’s desperate for love! It’s a good job that Akira is so understanding of Misora’s approach to life. I love the second generation of KGB, especially as they seem to be set to do all sorts of funny and lewd challenges against one another.

And then, we got back to the fighting. I’ve praised the fights in this series since reading the first volume and things have only gotten better and better. The Valkyrie Opera tournament has been a revelation in that we get to see many more girls fighting in many more styles and it is fascinating to see. The strategies and personalities are all over the place which just makes it that much more fun. We only saw half of the first round of the second preliminary in this volume which means the next one should be packed full of more fights. I just hope they have enough time for some more fun segments with Misora. She’s the star of this series and having her watch from the sidelines isn’t quite as much fun. Anyhow, I can’t wait for the next one!
