What happened?
The pantie thief turns out to be the middle school student who lives next door. After some begging, she promises not to go to the police, his school, or his parents. And, since he’s so apologetic she takes off the panties she’s wearing and gives them to him to remind him that stealing is bad. Who knows what this kind gesture will lead to? Anyhow, the next day Akira comes over with a double-ended dildo and Makoto gets a show to remember. This is possibly the luckiest teenager in the entire world… and he knows it!
Hatsumi Hime is tired of sleeping with executive producers for her next job so she turns on the camera in Misora’s apartment and sees her having sex with Akira. Surprisingly, she’s rather turned on by it and decides to do something about it. She manages to invite herself over to Misora’s apartment and shows her the video, telling her that her reporter friend got it from an anonymous source. She also helps Misora find a fake recording device. Misora is really grateful and hopes that Hatsumi will keep what she saw a secret. She will, but she expects to get her happy ending, forcing Misora to have sex with her.
Akira was annoyed with Hatsumi when Misora told her, but it didn’t impact their sex lives. If anything, things got a tiny bit kinkier! Anyhow, the boss has come up with a new way for the girls to make money. He’s acquired a studio and has set it up so that amateur photographers can book a session with any of the girls. Misora is actually hopeful that he’s doing it for the girls, but after meeting a new girl at the studio and becoming friends, she’s shocked to learn that the girl can’t leave the studio. She confronted the boss about Daidai Reon, but he revealed that she died in that building a couple of weeks ago. Then why does Masora keep getting messages from her? Why has she appeared in Misora’s apartment? Well, it turned out to be a huge prank.
Finally, it’s time for the preliminary round of Valkyrie Opera and Misora has been matched up against the strongest high school student, Airi. When Misora removes her gi in the ring to reveal a micro-bikini, Airi loses it, but was that a tactic? The fight begins and Airi charges in. She forces Misora back and goes for a kick to the liver, however, Misora easily blocks it and counters with a straight punch. She swoops in to finish it but pulls her punch before striking Airi. Airi is relieved but then quickly wraps Misora up with her legs. However, Misora is strong enough to lift Airi above her head and slam her onto the mat for an instant KO. After the fight, Misora is approached by Iba who wants to coach her. She was lucky this time, but she’ll need more than that going forward.

And we’re back to a fun and sexy manga by Rui Takato! This volume was not at all like the previous one and actually offered some hilarious moments. It showed us how in fifty year’s time, Makoto became a Supreme Court judge and it was all thanks to Misora’s justice. He still had her panties and consulted them regularly when he didn’t know what to do… I mean is it any more ridiculous than some of the Supreme Court judges at present? The prank on Misora was excellent and I loved how well everyone sold the idea to her. There were some great storytelling tools on display – nice foreshadowing, hints at something sinister, and the reveal was brilliant.
Of course, the main event has finally arrived and it is promising to be incredible. We’re starting with thirty-two fights split into eight groups (although the book said thirty-three, so either that’s a mistranslation or there is a secret extra fighter!) where one from each group will go on to the main event on New Year’s Eve. The first two fights were excellent and I have no reason to believe that the rest will be any less spectacular. As raunchy and lewd as this series is, the action has always been incredible. The fights have been brutal and fascinating at the same time. I’ve seen Shounen fighting manga with only a fraction of the intensity that these fights manage to create. Needless to say, I am excited to see how this goes.
