Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! (Volume 14) – What is My Dream?

What happened?

Misora’s first job is a photo shoot on a southern island with Makihara Midori who promises not to get their next video banned. However, she just can’t seem to help herself. For one section, she wants Misora to sit on a balance ball… and she has to hide the strange appendage during the shoot. Misora agrees and gets off on, too. However, the shoot is interrupted by a Komodo dragon. Misora protects some local children from the giant lizard and then tries to run, but it’s too fast. They end up locked in deadly combat and when the Komodo dragon opens its mouth to attack, she fires a punch into the back of its throat. She saved everyone and Midori is delighted to have got that on camera.

After returning home to Akira, and spending their brief time together in bed, Misora heads out on her family vacation – her prize for winning the Valkyrie Opera. It’s a twenty-eight-day world tour with their own private jet. During the vacation, they stop in Las Vegas where they get to see Alevtina getting her prize which is a fight against the strongest man in the world. He expects it to be easy, but she absolutely destroys him. Then, she reveals that her mother and sister were victims of the Chernobyl disaster and that she was donating half her prize money to help charities that deal with that. The other half would be put up as prize money for anyone who could defeat her.

Misora arrived home and found herself unable to get into anything. After seeing Alevtina’s drive and her goals, she started to question what her dream was. Once upon a time, she had wanted to be an idol, but her singing talent put an end to that. Maybe, there was something bigger and better waiting for her. But what? Meanwhile, she agreed to pose for her neighbour’s art project which may have gone a little off the rails. She also got to spend some time with Sara who had just published her autobiography, which was doing remarkably well.

Then, there was Utako who had a particularly disturbing dream that reminded her of the issues she faces with her inverted nipples. As such, she hoped to have surgery. The boss, however, was not too amused by the idea although he agreed that she could do it if she waited two years or if she had children in the meantime. She agreed. Of course, that wasn’t the end of it. So Rea and Luna Karin took it upon themselves to help Utako’s nipples come out. Surprisingly, it worked, but that wasn’t the only thing to come out. Utako’s previously unseen domineering side quickly took over!

What did you think?

As expected, things reverted to a mix of scenes and sketches involving various characters and it was a lot of fun. I had to laugh so hard at the neighbour trying to paint Misora, especially when she toppled over and sat on his face accidentally. Poor kid! Anyhow, it was even fun to see Sara again although her tricks never end. Of course, she blackmailed everyone to ensure that she won the book prize by setting up an orgy and then secretly filming it. That’s standard Sara.

I loved how it pushed the issue with Misora about what she wants to do with her life. She struggled to come up with something when they were asked what they would want if they won the Valkyrie Opera so it makes sense that she felt inadequate when she saw how passionate Alevtina was about her goals. I hope the next one gives her something to really push towards. I guess it’s going to have something to do with finding out about her father and the shady character who orchestrated the Valkyrie Opera. He no doubt killed her father and is waiting for her to get strong enough to challenge him. I still can’t believe I’m fourteen volumes into a series about a gravure model/karate master. It’s been an education!
