Booty Royale Never Go Down Without a Fight Volume 15 and 16 Cover

Now that the Valkyrie Opera is well and truly behind them, the girls of Space Wolf are able to focus on their individual careers. That, unfortunately, leaves them open to predators. Hopefully, they’ve learned a thing or two from Misora!

Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! (Volume 15) – Where Dreams Are!

What happened?

Utako has finished high school and is about to begin the next phase of her life at university. It also means that she’s old enough to do more than just Gravure shoots, and the offers are coming in fast. One producer wants to make an adult video with her, showcasing her first time, but the manager of Space Wolf is not prepared to listen to offers, even unreasonable ones. Utako is saving herself for marriage and he respects that, much to everyone’s surprise. Unfortunately, Sara Gojima is determined to crack that nut and sends some of her minions to set her up. However, despite how turned on by the photoshoot Utako gets, the minions can’t bring themselves to do anything to her because of how unworthy they see themselves.

Meanwhile, Mao Mao is adjusting to her new life in Japan, where she lives with Utako. They live together, bathe together, shave together, and sleep together… in an entirely non-sexual manner. Anyhow, Mao Mao is still coming to terms with the bush trimming Utako helped her with. And by trim, I mean shaved bare. It’s a little too much for her to handle… Maybe she should try another couple of times…

Nosaka Nagisa is enjoying her new-found sumo fame after her fight in the Valkyrie Opera. After training, a friend invites her to a party that some guys at her university have set up. However, it’s all just a front to get the girls drunk and then rape them. Unfortunately for them, the second someone touched Nagisa’s panties, she reacted as if someone was grabbing her mawashi belt. She instantly sobered up and destroyed the guy before rescuing her friend.

Then, we followed one of the newer members of Space Wolf, Daidai Reon who was recognised from her previous career as an underground idol which brought back a lot of painful memories. Then, as if to make things worse, her old boss tracked her down and decided that they should carry on where they left off, which was not a good place for Daidai. Luckily, she had friends to turn to this time. Misora and Mao Mao came with her the next time and restrained him while the others took all the compromised material he had on Daidai. Then, the boss came in and warned him to stay away and told him that if anything ever got out about Daidai, they’d assume he did it and come back.

What did you think?

This volume was fine. It’s still on a bit of a comedown after the Valkyrie Opera which is still the peak moment of the series so far, so that’s to be expected. However, there really wasn’t much direction anymore. We just wandered from girl to girl, saw what horrors they were dealing with, and then moved on to another girl. This was a very dark volume. I’ve always enjoyed the more comedic moments and the sexy fights but struggled with the really sinister stuff. The amount of rape in this series is actually pretty shocking and I get that it’s probably a reflection of this line of work, but I’m finding it hard that no one faces any real consequences. The guy who tried to rape Nagisa got knocked out, but that was about it. Daidai’s attacker got away and her old boss was warned to leave her alone. When Misora and Mao Mao accompanied her, I was expecting him to get a beating.

And then there’s Sara Gojima! Every now and then, she does something funny, but for the most part, she is a disgusting human being. At the end of this volume, she has somehow convinced Misora to fight her in a catfight with some fairly outrageous rules and forfeits. Not only that but she’s somehow got Alevtina to be in a tag team with Misora against Sara and Maria. This feels like a big leap for Misora and especially Alevtina. The sooner Misora gets the better of Sara the better the series will be, but then I see that Sara must have a following as she has a spin-off series. I don’t think I’ll be checking that one out any time soon. Misora was missed in this volume as were the fights. Hopefully, the next volume will come back strong!
