My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog (Episode 2) – Walkies

What happened?

Karen Inukai takes Pochita out for their first walk together and she seems delighted. She has a warm cardigan on and a summer skirt. Everything is great. Of course, from Pochita’s point of view, all he can see is her panties. The disadvantage of only being a foot tall. As they walk past a park, Pochita notices a baseball flying directly for Karen’s head. He pulls back on his leash causing her to fall over. At least, she didn’t get hit by the ball. When she realises what happened, Pochita is nowhere to be seen. Then, she feels him trapped between her legs, searching for a way out…

They resume their walk and then Pochita realises he needs to pee. But, he’s a human. He can’t just pee in public and not with Karen staring at him. Hang on. Did she just get her phone out? Why is she taking a picture? Pochita can’t do anything about it and quickly takes care of business. Back at Karen’s house, one of her friends comes over to study. It’s Mike Nekotani, a girl that lives next door to him. That brings some memories flooding back. If he could just get home, maybe he could find out what happened. Maybe, Mike can help?

What did you think?

The plot thickens… Well, not really, but it did at least touch on the idea that Pochita was definitely turned into a dog. It’s now become a bit of a mystery and not just why Karen seems to be getting off a little too frequently from being around Pochita. Once more, the show took advantage of Pochita’s point of view to deliver some low-angle panty-shots. I’m not sure Pochita really needed to bury his face into her panties in an attempt to get out. Surely, he wasn’t that disorientated.

It was funny seeing Pochita struggling with the idea that he was now walking around naked and peeing in public. That must be quite the shock even if your body is completely different. We also got to see a little more of Karen’s darker side as she scolded those children that were playing baseball. I’m still not entirely sure about this series, but I do want to find out how he became a dog so I guess I’m stuck with it. At least, they’re short episodes.
