Karen tries to communicate with Pochita by using a device that can apparently translate barks into words. It doesn’t help that she’s wearing a sexy dog costume at the same time, but at least Mike invited them over!

What happened?

Of course, Pochita is sceptical about how well this toy can translate a dog’s barks and when they try it, Karen is visibly upset. She shakes it off, however, and continues to crawl around in her dog costume. That’s when her mother walks in and is a little surprised. Karen claims she was exercising, but no one is buying it. However, that causes Pochita to remember more of his previous life. He used to be a loner, looking after the school garden with a girl called Usagi. It was when Karen Inukai told him his love of gardening wasn’t weird that he fell for her.

Later, Karen comes from home school and drops onto her bed. This is the chance Pochita has been waiting for. They’ve been invited to Mike’s house on the weekend so he’s planning on having a parcel delivered there so that he can escape out the front door and make it to his house. He just needs to get to Karen’s phone, although she cuddles him as he tries to sneak past her. Then, when he tries to lick his way out, Karen puts her fingers together and seems to enjoy it even more. Anyhow, Pochita ordered the parcel. Now, he has to wait.

What did you think?

This is the point that this series falls apart. The fact that Pochita was able to order a parcel to Mike’s house at a specific time despite being a dog should highlight the fact that he should be sending messages to anyone that will listen, telling them that he has been turned into a dog. He hasn’t don’t that, but he could. Such a frustrating oversight. Surely, there was a better way to have him plan to escape from Mike’s house that didn’t shatter the plot… Haha, the plot!

Anyhow, we got to see Karen prancing around as a dog and then trying to claim she was exercising. It was all quite amusing and the costume certainly wasn’t bad to look at. I did like the flashback and that showed that maybe Usagi was the one he should be messaging from Karen’s phone. There must be someone that would believe him as crazy as it seems. It wouldn’t be hard to arrange something to prove he is a person in a dog’s body. Anyhow, what was that gesture that Karen made with her fingers when Pochita was licking her hand? I know what it looks like, I just want to make sure it is what I think it is! Answers in the comments!
