Pochita believes the person that gave him the Valentine’s chocolate is responsible for turning him into a dog. So, he tries to sneak into Karen’s bag to go to school with her. She notices, but can’t resist his charms!

What happened?

Pochita needs to find the girl with the lab coat. She must have some answers for him and as such he has to find a way to go to school. His first option is to sneak into Karen’s bag, although he’s not too subtle. She takes him out and tries to leave him at home. However, Pochita has learnt a few tricks and convinces her to take him. At school, he hides in her bag waiting for a chance to run off, however, it’s hard as Karen is constantly staring at him. The one time she isn’t, he finds himself in the girls’ locker room as they prepare for gym. He can’t come out now!

Pochita was surprised to learn that Karen eats lunch alone, well, not today as she has Pochita with her. In the afternoon classes, he spots the girl in the lab coat walking past their room. She even appears to glance back at him. It’s not or never. Pochita jumps out and licks Karen’s belly forcing her to stand up as if she wants to answer a question. Pochita runs for the door but is instantly surrounded by a group of fawning girls. He tries to race beneath their legs, but it’s no use. One girl catches him and suggests they have a dog cafe for the school festival. The teacher seems to agree, although Karen just wants Pochita back!

What did you think?

Despite the abundance of panties and bras, this was a fairly sombre episode. We got to see a little more of how Karen is at school and despite being this figure that is revered, she’s actually incredibly lonely. She eats her lunch alone and barely seems to interact with anyone. In fact, most of the other students seem to give her a wide berth afraid to bother her. That, of course, makes Pochita’s position a little harder. There’s no way he’s going to give up on becoming human again, but there will be an impact on Karen’s life.

We got to see the girl in the lab coat once more and this time it felt like she wanted Pochita to notice her. I can’t help but wonder if she didn’t put a tracking device on him the same way Karen did. What if the girl in the lab coat did it specifically for Karen? She certainly told Pochita it was from Karen. What is the connection and how will it be resolved? There are four episodes left and I find myself surprisingly invested in the mystery of it all now. I wanted to know how it happened, but now there’s much more to find out.
