The cafe will be closed for Golden Week which means Sakurai has some time off. He should go somewhere or do something. Or he could stay at home and play video games… Uzaki, however, is determined to get him outside!

What happened?

By the time Uzaki had realised that Sakurai was probably home alone, he’d been playing video games for seventy-two hours straight. He needed to go outside. She enticed him out with a mobile game that had absolutely no resemblance to Pokemon Go! None whatsoever. Anyhow, because of his marathon gaming session, his eyes were tired so Uzaki took him to a shop to buy some glasses. They bumped into Ami Asai there who helped select some glasses for Sakurai to try on, much to his derision.

After the shop, Uzaki and Sakurai got on a train to goto the location of the big event, however, the train steadily got more and more crowded. Soon, there was no room and Sakurai and Uzaki were squashed together. Sakurai did his best to protect her, but then he realised that her boobs were smushed against his stomach. He tried to block it out and eventually made himself pass out standing up! Uzaki got off at their stop, but Sakurai continued on unaware.

To make up to Uzaki for what happened, Sakurai suggested they did something one weekend. Uzaki was shocked and delighted. However, the day came and so did the rain. Sakurai was about to call Uzaki to tell her not to come when his doorbell rang. It was Uzaki and she was soaked through. She used his shower and then made some dinner. Then, they played video games and seemed to have a lot of fun!

What did you think?

I mentioned in the last episode about a rant I read saying that this show was basically making introverts out to be weird and that it was something to fix. Well, this episode pretty much killed that argument. It’s worth noting that introverts don’t want to be alone all the time. We like smaller groups and especially groups of like-minded people. Sure, we like being alone too, but it’s not everything.

As you can see from this episode, Sakurai is starting to realise that Uzaki is similar to him. I think that’s why they butt heads so often. His attitude towards her has softened and that is because he’s becoming familiar with her and feeling more comfortable in her company. He’s still an introvert. He still likes playing games and being alone. However, you could see it on his face when he was playing with Uzaki and even when he walked her to the station. They are slowly but surely becoming close. How close? Well, we’ll have to wait and see.
