What happened?

There are several things that Uzaki failed to tell her mother. One that her senior was a boy. A boy whose apartment she slept at when she was drunk and threw up on his futon. Not to mention how scary he was. That’s fine though as Sakurai had no intention of staying long. He wanted to hand over the money and leave, but then he saw Uzaki’s cats and came inside. Tzuki sat on the other side of the room as she talked to Uzaki and Sakurai. She apologised for her daughter’s behaviour and could see how she was a nuisance to him. He told her to go on…

Then, Sakurai noticed the cat sitting on Tsuki’s lap and couldn’t take his eyes off it. Tsuki misread his stare and thought he was looking at her boobs. Did he like her? Then, Uzaki asked if he wanted to start petting… Tsuki was stunned and things just went from bad to worse. Before leaving they had insinuated that they would like to have a threesome with Tsuki at some pointing the future once she had warmed up to the idea…

Tsuki came to the cafe to see Uzaki working and was surprised to see just how well she was doing and how much the owner and his daughter liked her. Seeing Sakurai working there was another shock, especially when Ami told her how popular he was with the older women. Does Sakurai like married, older women? Oh, my! Then, things took a weird turn when Sakurai made a comment about how quiet and calm her mother was compared to her…

Have I mentioned how I love the misunderstandings in these sorts of shows? This one has been particularly good with the phrase they’ve chosen and how they could easily be taken out of context to mean something very different. Well, they took that to another level with Tsuki Uzaki. It was brilliant seeing her getting flustered as they talked about petting and how she might get used to them. I laughed so hard. Of course, Ami made everything worse by pointing out that Sakurai was popular with older women. They instantly realised what they had done and tried to backtrack, but it was too late.

Then, we got to see Uzaki acting like her mother and causing all sorts so of pain and suffering to Sakurai. Finally, he apologised and then said he preferred the other Uzaki. It was a double KO with no one left standing. Then, they continued to argue. Enough that a child who just entered the cafe yelled at them and told them to stop. That was extra funny because it showed how engrossed in the Sakurai Uzaki saga Ami and Akihiko are that they didn’t notice customers come in. This was a very funny episode and the next one will see Sakurai and Uzaki on a romantic two-night vacation to Tottori, the home of Detective Conan!
