Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!? Uncensored (Episode 4) – Fourth Period
What happened?
It’s a beautiful tropical island. There are girls in bikinis as far as the eye can see, however, Sato can’t seem to see past his teacher. What the hell is she doing here? Sato’s mother explains that since his father couldn’t come, she invited Kana in his place. She didn’t want the ticket to go to waste and since she’ll be family soon enough, it’s all good. Sato paused and looked at his mother. What did she mean by that? Realising that her son was a bit of a blockhead, she decided to spell it out for him. Kana likes him and she’s been trying to show him, but he’s too oblivious to the signs.
Anyhow, she’s going to manufacture a situation where they will be alone. Then, he’ll understand. So, she runs off shopping with his little sister, leaving Sato and Kana on the beach together. Since they have time before the wedding, Kana suggests they find a nice spot on the beach and have some fun… What did she mean by that? They find an isolated cove and put down their towels. Sato is still processing what his mother said when Kana asked him to put sunscreen on her back. That doesn’t ease his tension, but he does what he can. However, he absentmindedly mentions that it must be impossible and there’s no way she likes him. She then absentmindedly replies that of course she does, she loves him…
Realising what she said, Kana spins around to look at Sato. However, his hands, slick with sunscreen slide around her body and end up holding her boobs. She panics and runs into the water. However, she failed to warm up and quickly developed a cramp. Sato has to jump in to save her. After pulling her out and offering her bikini top back to her, she reveals that something bit her. That’s when they notice the warning about sea snakes. She’s terrified. She doesn’t want to die, at least not before Sato tells her how he feels about her. He tells her that he won’t let her die and offers to suck out the venom.
With his mind made up, he asks Kana where the bite was. She points down to her thigh… her inner, inner thigh… Why did it have to be there? Then, when he asks her to spread her legs, she reveals that she’s still cramping and can’t do it, so he pushes her onto her back and holds her legs in the air. It may be embarrassing, but he’s got to save her. Then, he dives in and begins to suck out the venom. It takes several attempts but he thinks he’s got it all. Then, Kana blacks out from overstimulation, forcing Sato to run for an ambulance. When Sato’s mother hears about what happened, she assumes the sea snake is a euphemism and is delighted that her plan has come to fruition. Then, as they head into the wedding Sato suggests that they come back after he’s graduated!
What did you think?
So, this was the climax of the Sato and Kojima arc and what a way to do it! I absolutely love Sato’s mother. She is hilarious. Her scheming is not that grand or subtle, but she knows what she wants and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Sato doesn’t know how lucky he is, but I feel like he may be getting an idea about it. Anyhow, there were some great moments in this episode. I particularly liked the one where Sato accidentally spoke out loud about Kana and then she replied without thinking, confirming her feelings for him. Of course, that sort of accidental confession always leads to some sort of awkward scenario and this was no exception.
Of course, nothing will compare to the moment that Sato realised where the bite was. I’ve got to give him credit for not backing down. It was also funny how she couldn’t handle it and passed out, making it look like she had succumbed to the venom. It was a great way to end this arc before the episode ended with the introduction of the next stage. We’ve already met Sato’s friend, Suzuki and briefly saw Ms Matsukaze, but it was still a nice way to pass things over to them. Obviously, it would appear that this school has a real problem with teachers falling for students, but you have to remember, it’s not real. Just enjoy the absurdity of it!
