Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls (Episode 10) – Everyday Life with D
What happened?
For Papi’s date, she wanted to go camping in the forest. Suu came along too and Zombina was there as the bodyguard, although she wasn’t very inconspicuous. Kimihito tried to extract the reason for this date from Papi, but as usual, she couldn’t remember. However, she did know about some toxic waste that had been abandoned nearby by an industrial complex. Then, as Kimihito grilled some meat, they were attacked by a giant tree. Zombina was taken out first. Kimihito grabbed Papi and Suu and ran. However, the tree ensnared Papi with some vines and pulled her close. Kimihito told Suu to run as he went back for Papi, but she was tossed off a cliff, landing in the toxic waste.

Suddenly, Papi remember why she wanted to come to the forest. The giant tree was actually a Dryad called Kii. Although something wasn’t right given how big she was. That was when she realised that the toxic waste must have affected Kii, turning her into the giant monster attacking them. If only she could get the toxic waste out of her. Amazingly, Papi came up with the solution. She just needed to suck the toxic waste out of Key’s breasts. Unfortunately, Papi ended up being restrained again. Then, a giant mutated Suu appeared and drew Kii’s attention, leaving Kimihito to drain the toxic waste…

Zombina recovered from the initial attack to discover an incredibly bizarre sight. After everything was resolved, Kii was allowed to live in the forest and Agent Smith assured her that the toxic waste would be removed and those responsible punished. With no time to rest, it was Centorea’s turn to accompany Kimihito on a date. However, she showed up in full armour and terrified everyone around them. After Centorea relaxed, they went to the park for a picnic, however, Centorea’s food was incredibly bland, and Rachnera was all too keen to point that out. Then, a devil-girl bewitched Centorea, taking advantage of her insecurities to trick her into making a move on Kimihito.

What did you think?
This was very much an episode of two halves. The first half was brilliantly bonkers. I loved the moment when Zombina climbed out of the hole in the ground, wondering what was going on, only to find Kimihito sucking on the giant Dryad’s boobs, Papi tied up bondage-style, and the Dryad expressing the toxins from a pair of giant slime boobs. The best thing about the situation was that it made sense if you’d followed the scene as the audience. For someone dropping in at that moment, it would be ridiculous. No doubt, that would be the moment your parents walk in on you…

The second half was a little more subdued, but in a good way. Centorea continues to be the most interesting character for me and I loved the way that things are developing between her and Kimihito. Rachnera also proved to be the voice of reason once again as she stopped Kimihito from lying to Centorea, even if it was to protect her feelings. I love how honest she is about things and how she encourages everyone else to be more true to their feelings.

So, the one confusing thing for me was the title of this epsiode – Everyday Life with D. I don’t think the devil-girl is D, especially as Rachnera captured her and basically made her into a plaything. So, was the title just a reference to life now that they were trying to lure out this mysterious D? It certainly led me to believe that we would have an answer in this episode, but that was not the case. Guess I better watch some more!
