Guess Who I Drew! (Sunday Sevens)
I decided to get my pencils out and do some sketches of some anime characters, but can you guess who they are and what show they’re from? Hopefully, they’ll be instantly recognizable… or else it’s back to the drawing board!
Guess Who I Drew!
So, for full disclosure, I did all of these back in the first quarter of 2019. Since then, it’s been hard to find the time to do anymore. I even asked Santa for some professional markers for Christmas as an incentive to do some more and even start to colour them. Well, as I start to shift the direction of my blog, I want to do more, even if it’s just for fun. So, in the interest of fun, see if you can name these characters and the show that they were in. There are fourteen points at stake here and the first person to get all of them correct gets bragging rights.

This should be a nice easy one to start things off and the only one that has some colour and shading. In retrospect, I feel like the head might be a little large, but then that’s not really an issue in anime…

I had a lot of fun drawing this one and am pretty happy with how it ended up. My eraser got a full workout as I had to move things around to get the proportions correct.

So, this was another fun image to draw and I’ll admit that I did reduce the number of vials on the inside of her jacket. I think even then, you should be able to work out who this is. I think the hair’s a dead giveaway.

A great moment in a great series. If you don’t know who this is then once you find out, I would recommend watching this series next.

This is one of the more detailed sketches and you can see the faint outlines of the snake she’s sitting on in the background. She’s such an awesome character that I had to draw her and the pose was odd without the snake.

Hopefully, this is another easy one. The thing I like most about this sketch is the facial expression which I think I nailed. I am, of course, biased, but that’s to be expected.

This is actually my favourite from the bunch and the one that I think will stump the most people. It’s a shame because it’s a fantastic series that really deserves more love.
Well, there you have it. Seven characters from seven series. Can you name them all? Put your answers in the comments. I’ll avoid revealing the correct answers until Monday so that everyone can play.
If this goes well, I may do another post like this and that would be a great incentive to get my sketchbook out. Thanks, again for reading.
