Gojou prepares Sajuna and Marin’s costumes and they look amazing. They prepare for the photo shoot in the rain, but before they start, Gojou has a surprise for them! One that leaves them stunned!
My Dress-Up Darling (Episode 9) – A Lot Happened After I Saw That Photo
What happened?
Gojou and Marin got home after shopping for supplies and she’s keen to show him something. She pulls up her skirt and reveals her high-waisted swimwear. Of course, it’s a little much for Gojou to handle, even as he suspiciously eyes up the box of tissues on his desk…
Anyhow, Gojou finishes the costumes and they are amazing. Juju’s costume fits perfectly and Marin’s is insane! INSANE!!! They head off to the location of the photoshoot and prepare for the pictures. Marin takes a selfie of her and Juju and drums up quite a response from the internet. They’re starting to wonder what’s happened to Gojou and Shinju, but they arrive moments later and it’s quite the entrance!
On the day they first scouted out the location, Sajuna goes home first and Marin has to run to work. Shinju was planning on looking around the shops when Gojou asked her something important – does she want to cosplay?
She does, but she’s worried that it will be terrible and Sajuna will hate it and then her by extension. Shinju also doesn’t have much money as she’s still in middle school. However, Gojou is determined to make her dreams come true too and together they prepare for her debut as Soma-oniichan from Flower Princess Blaze.
Marin and Juju cannot believe it when Shinju walks in as Soma. The transformation is incredible. This is going to be an amazing photo shoot.
What did you think?
I was sure that the photoshoot was going to be memorable, but this was something else, and the photo shoot hadn’t even started. Watching Gojou go out of his way to make the cosplay costume work and be affordable was fantastic. He’s really stepping into this role and he seems to get as much pleasure as the people he helps. I loved the addition of Shinju to the group cosplay and it was even more incredible as she wanted to cosplay as a guy.
There are just so many warm feelings in this show, and that’s before we even discuss why Gojou was looking at that box of tissues! It’s hard to watch this series and not grin from ear to ear until it hurts. This is the definition of feel-good entertainment. I don’t even have that much to say about this epsiode because it was simply amazing. If you haven’t seen this series, then do yourself a favour and get on it. This is a truly special series.
