What happened?
Kogarashi hit Genshirou with an unbelievable attack. It was impossible to dodge and ended up scattering most of Genshirou’s body. It didn’t finish him, but the small version that remained was quick to thank Kogarashi… It turned out that since he returned from his training, his retainers had developed unrealistic expectations of the Black Dragon God, believing he could take on the three great families. He didn’t think it was possible and needed a show of strength to calm things down. He even allowed Oboro to continue her mission to acquire Kogarashi’s seed. Now, however, she had a newfound admiration for him. Could this be love?
Hibari was concerned that Oboro was stepping up her game and with the others already interested in Kogarashi, how was she going to compete? She decided that that all she had was her confession. So, she arranged to talk to Kogarashi in private, but that didn’t go as planned. She kept trying, but each time, something went wrong and it ended up in a lewd situation. Finally, after one too many, she gave up and just told him how she felt. Kogarashi thanked her but then said that he didn’t feel the same way. She moved back home that night, but when Sagiri got into a situation with a cursed spirit, she ran to help. The spirit would curse anyone it cut so that they could never see their loved ones again. Hibari was not about to let that happen. Realising that she still liked him even if he didn’t return the feelings, she moved back to Yuragi-sou and was determined not to give up.
Koyuzu was up to her usual antics once more. She discovered that she could alter the size of people’s boobs and offered her services around Yuragi-sou. Some wanted to try out smaller boobs, while others wanted bigger ones. After altering everyone at Yuragi-sou, they all gathered together in the dining room. Koyuzu assumed she was in trouble, but everyone was keen to thank her and maybe try some other sizes out… Then, Koyuzu found another spirit board game. Before Nakai could object, she activated the game. Everyone was transported to a deserted island where their clothes were swapped for short shorts, bikinis, and white shirts. Everyone also had a water gun, well, it wasn’t just a water gun it was a Kogarashi-gun. The water guns would melt the clothes off the girls they hit. Once naked, they would be ejected from the game. The last girl standing would win a love potion…Suddenly, the game was on!
What did you think?
This was another great volume. I love that it gave Oboro the chance to realise that she liked Kogarashi and wasn’t just trying to create a strong child with him. It was interesting to see that Genshirou was actually planning on losing, even if he had to go all out to maintain appearances. There was also a min-arc where Kogarashi was cursed and would die if he didn’t see twelve different girls’ panties, and they had to be wearing them. That was hilarious, especially when they realised that panties were just the first stage of the curse. It wasn’t called the Full Monty Curse for nothing…
I felt really sorry for Hibari in this volume, although we all knew that she was never going to be the one to capture Kogarashi’s heart. I’m not sure how any of them can really, but she was definitely an outsider in this race. Still, it was hard to see how she took the rejection, even if it did give her the ability if only momentarily, to make a perfect spirit suit. I also loved the moment between Chisaki and Kogarsahi in the foot hot spring. However, nothing can compare to the anticipation of the water gun game that has just begun. It was funny seeing Nakai sacrifice herself so she could leave the game and I knew that as soon as Yuuna pointed the Kogarashi-gun at herself, something was going to stop her. The next volume is going to be incredible.
