After defeating Clayman’s forces, there were many prisoners. On top of that, then there were the refugees from Eurazania. With the sudden influx of new people, Rimuru decided to hold a festival to encourage some to stay.

What happened?
Diablo returned from Falmuth with a chest full of Stellar Gold Coins. He reported that the King had abdicated and put his brother in his place, aware that there would be a backlash. There was another issue that required their attention, however. The Holy Church has asked Reyheim to attend so that they can get his report of the awakening of Veldora. Luckily, they can provide a memory sphere which will show them exactly what they want them to see. Sounds too easy. Something will go wrong there.
Next, Rimuru has to deal with a distraught Geld. He’s integrated many of the new people into his workforce, however, orcs can communicate telepathically and the new members can’t. It’s slowing down the work and causing confusion. There’s also the issue of one of their roads going too close to a region where a tribe with violent tendencies lives. Rimuru sends Benimaru to meet with them and see what ground he can break. Finally, there is another issue where Rimuru has been given domain of the entire Forest of Juru and not just Tempest. That means people who live in the forest will come to see him to be allowed to continue to live there.
Rimuru has no plans on denying them, however, it’ll be a pain to see everyone individually. So, he decides to hold a festival and have everyone come at once. Maybe, some with want to relocate to Tempest permanently when they see what life is like there.
What did you think?
Once more, there wasn’t a lot of action. These first few episodes seem to be entirely focused on world-building which is great. I love the intricacies of Rimuru building a nation, and the fact that wherever he goes, Shion is at his side… or resting on his head… Either way, since not much happened, I decided that I would focus my highlight on best girl Shion. We saw a glimpse of the new race that is likely to become involved and I can’t help but wonder if they are the angels that Valentine spoke of. They had wings and seemed to be widely regarded as hostile. I can’t wait for them to become Rimuru’s latest allies. That will put the cat among the pigeons… so to speak.
At this point, I’m curious where the next conflict will come from. The poster hints that Hinata will be involved, but I can’t see her doing anything against Valentine’s orders, so something is going to have to happen there to force her. We know that Yuuki is planning something and King Edward looked like he was plotting something in the last episode too. None of these seem to be that big a threat, with the exception of Hinata, so I feel like there’s something big that is going to shake this story up in a big way.
